Disney’s High School Musical Auditions: (August 6 at 5:00pm- Ages 8-12)

Main Street Theatre Company is currently scheduling audition appointments for its Student Production of DISNEY’S HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL. Auditions are open to MSTC students ages 8-18. Non-MSTC students may audition. There will be a $150 participation fee for performers not enrolled in a class with MSTC.

Rehearsals will begin the week of August 19 and will primarily be held on Monday, Thursday, and Sunday afternoon/evenings. Rehearsals will be held everyday from October 5-10.

AUDITION DATES/TIMES:
Monday August 5 and Tuesday August 6 at 5:00 pm for ages 8-12 and 6:30 pm for ages 13+.

AUDITION LOCATION:
The State Theatre, 27 E Main Street, Uniontown, PA 15401. Please use the main doors (box office) of the theatre to enter and exit.

AUDITION REQUIREMENTS:

All auditioners should prepare 32 bars of a song in the style of the show. Please bring sheet music in the correct key. An accompanist will be provided. All auditioners will participate in a dance/movement call following the vocal audition. Please bring comfortable clothing and jazz or athletic shoes for the dance/movement audition.

CALLBACKS:
Callbacks will be held the same day as the initial audition. Those asked to attend callbacks each evening will be given and taught material from the show.
