Youth Company
MSTC Youth Company: Where Young Talent Shines
The Main Street Theatre Youth Company is a comprehensive musical theatre training program designed for young performers, ages 8 and up. This program offers students the opportunity to develop their skills in acting, singing, and movement through weekly classes, providing a well-rounded foundation in the arts. Beyond technical training, the Youth Company emphasizes collaboration, creativity, and personal growth.
In addition to their regular training, students will participate in weekly rehearsals to prepare for the MST Youth Company Revue at the end of the season. This revue is a special performance that showcases the hard work and dedication of the entire company, and it is a highlight of the year for both students and families.
Participation in the Youth Company requires a full-year commitment, as students are expected to attend all classes and rehearsals. We hold our students to high standards of commitment, work ethic, and integrity, ensuring a disciplined, supportive environment for everyone involved.
Admission to the Youth Company is by audition, which takes place each Fall semester. Students interested in joining will need to audition for a spot in the program. Audition details will be posted prior to audition dates.
If your child is passionate about musical theatre and ready to take their skills to the next level, we invite you to learn more about this exciting opportunity!
