Spring 2023 Semester Classes
See below for all of our offerings for the Spring semester.
The Spring 2023 Semester runs from January 10-April 11. All classes run on Tuesday evenings except for January 24 and March 21.

The Main Street Theatre Youth Company is a musical theatre training program for kids ages 8 and up. Youth Company students have required weekly courses and will train in acting, singing, and movement. Students will also attend weekly rehearsals to prepare for the MST Youth Company Revue at the end of the season.
Participation in the Youth Company is a full year commitment. We will hold our students in this program to a high standard of commitment, work ethic, and integrity.
Admittance into the program is by audition only. Auditions for the 2022-2023 Season will be held on Monday August 29 at the State Theatre Center for the Arts. Ages 8-13 will audition between 5:30-7:00 PM. Ages 14+ will audition between 7:00-8:30PM.
Musical Theatre Technique
Through a series of multi-week workshops, students will study a variety of topics to build and advance the necessary skills of a well- rounded musical theatre performer. Students will be scheduled on a weekly basis to attend a 60 minute group class focused on acting, song interpretation, movement, music theory, and more! Students will work with different faculty members on a rotational basis.
This class is open to students ages 8 and up. Students will be divided into different sections based on their age.
*Musical Theatre Technique is required for MST Youth Company Members.

Musical Theatre Dance
Theatre Dance class is a 45 min long class that begins with a warm-up including basic technique as well as stretching, conditioning, and cardio.
Students will focus on building skills, vocabulary, and combinations so that they are equipped to handle the challenges of dance calls during musical theatre auditions, as well as to put their best foot forward anytime they’re on stage.
This class is good for dancers of all levels.
TUESDAYS: 4:30-5:15PM (MT Dance Kids: Ages 8-12)
TUESDAYS: 5:15-6:00PM (MT Dance Teens: Ages 13+)
