John Wagner

John Wagner is the Artistic Director of the Main Street Theatre Company and the General Director of the State Theatre Center for the Arts in Uniontown, Pennsylvania. Through his leadership, he has helped expand access to high-quality musical theatre programming and arts education in a region where such opportunities are often limited. He oversees year-round productions and a growing education program that empowers students of all ages to develop as artists and individuals.

John holds a Master of Arts in Performing Arts Administration from New York University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre from Shenandoah University. He has directed and choreographed over 25 productions with Main Street Theatre Company. His work is rooted in a belief that the performing arts can uplift communities, foster connection, and create meaningful pathways for the next generation of artists.
